The short version: we collect what the product needs to run, we don’t sell it, and you can export or delete all of it yourself, in-app.
What we collect
Account details (name, email, company), your brand configuration (brands, queries, competitors, fact profiles), data from integrations you explicitly authorize (Google Analytics 4, Search Console, WordPress), billing information processed by Stripe, and product usage needed for support and reliability.
What we deliberately don’t collect
Crawler telemetry from the plugin and collectors contains request paths, bot names, counts and status codes — never page content and never data about your human visitors. Demand trends are computed from transparent public signals, never from private chat logs. AI answers we store are public engine responses about brands, not conversations of yours.
How we use it
To run scans and produce your insights, send the alerts and digests you configure, bill you correctly, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising networks on it.
Who else touches it
A short list of subprocessors (hosting, email delivery, payments) listed at viali.ai/subprocessors. We notify customers before adding one.
Your rights
Export everything as JSON and delete your account yourself, in-app — no support ticket required. EU/UK residents have the full set of GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and a documented SOC 2 readiness program covering incident response, backups and disaster recovery. Details on request under NDA.
Transactional email, the morning digest at 7am in your brand’s timezone, and alert notifications — each individually controllable. No cold drip sequences.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, account owners get an email before it takes effect, with a diff-style summary of what moved.
