Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum (DPA) describes how Viali AI processes personal data on behalf of customers in compliance with applicable data-protection laws, including the GDPR.

Definitions

Terms such as "personal data", "processing", "controller", and "processor" have the meanings given in applicable data-protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Roles of the parties

For personal data you submit to the service, you act as the controller and Viali acts as the processor, processing personal data only on your documented instructions.

Details of processing

Viali processes personal data to provide the service, for the duration of the agreement, covering the categories of data and data subjects you choose to submit.

Sub-processors

You authorize Viali to engage vetted sub-processors under written terms that provide adequate protection. We maintain a current list and notify you of material changes.

Security measures

Viali implements appropriate technical and organizational measures as described on our Security page, designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

Data subject rights

Viali provides reasonable assistance to help you respond to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under applicable law.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred internationally, Viali relies on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Audits

Upon reasonable request, Viali makes available information necessary to demonstrate compliance with this DPA and supports audits subject to confidentiality terms.

Term and deletion

Upon termination, Viali will delete or return personal data in accordance with the agreement, unless retention is required by law.
